Yeah I said it….

Digital marketing is a big name and it's cool to complicate it if that's what you are looking for and excuses for not doing it. If you want to do it, it's actually quite simple:

1. Have something to sell

2. Create the best marketing content in the world about it ( aim to become the top 1% of your niche) 

3. Become a master story teller - captions and stories

4. Be someone worth following (super fit, helpful, funny, handsome, trustworthy, precise, interesting, knowledgeable...you get the gist) At least one of those, ideally as many as you can be.

That's it, everything else are excuses not to focus on what matters.
